Last Friday, my boss assigned me a task he usually does. He left Mauritius for Dubai and returned on Tuesday morning. When he returned, he asked me abt the status of the task, and i replied that i have not yet completed. Today he phoned to scold me that the task should be completed. Fuck the hell out of me. Out the files he gave me, there are some pending files from the year 2003 like as if, i should be knowing about it.  I decided that i will stop working on his fucking file and wait for tomorrow, day he said he would work on the file with me. Now i heard that tomorrow, he has a meeting with customers. Cool!! Cross fingers that he will take his time with them.

The company has just sold an unprofitable investment. Its managing director has been sacked for poor stewardship. I think i am on good track of following this manager.

After a windy and chilling weekend and start of the week, it has now started to get milder. Even my shower sprinkled out a mild temperate water despite the thermostat was on hot. Reunion island witnessed a fall in snow on the track to La Fournaise. This is the second time since 2003 that snow fell on the sister island. Some inhabitants even thought of setting up a stand and selling snow to visitors.

After a first day together and a voyage by limousine, the first candidate to be eliminated from the loft is Silverboard.

The name of the candidates are officially known. After a five day selection, the jury have finally selected the 6 candidates who will be confined in a house with internet based challenges.

The spiral price rise continues to make more victims as time goes on. AS from next MOnday, the cost of sending a local mail will rise by Rs 3. The cost of registering mail and sending outward mail too will rise. The rise is justified by the increasing operational cost and value added services provided by the privatised post.

Been watching bleach anime for some time. Very hooked on it. But lately, due to the unavailability of this manga from my “supplier”, i have to jump on other available mangas, like tokko, or hellsing. Hellsing is a dark manga, with blood on every scenario. No wonder, it a series on vampires.

AS to tokko, i grasped only a few episodes, and do not understand the theme. Bottomless pits start to appear around Japan, and mysterious creatures emerge from them, linked to the mass murder of humans. All this to do with something called “The Box of Dirge”…

The casting for the Nomad no limit challenge was broadcast yesterday on the national tv. The selection will take place over  a five days’ period. The panel of judges consisted of 3 members, two men and a women, all of them not directly related to Nomad (the company). Probably acting as consultant. Questions and answers were as follows: why r u participating, u want to win the first prize (trip to dubai), and answers as diverse were: it’s a challenge for me, want to participate since i love telerealiter shows (reference to Star academy). And the funniest thing in the casting is the remarks of the judges: en couyon sa…And some candidates were asked to even rate the judges……

I could not help laughing at the reactions and responses of the candidates. It was not even a formal interview, kind of best of candid camera..

Fuel price per litre swells as from today to become mur40.60 while diesel falls to mur 30.20 per litre. Domestic gas in 12kgs packing rises to mur 315, as a result of APM meeting yesterday. Some colleagues of mine said they would henceforth use public transport. Is this rise a deterrent? The future will say.
